I have iron deficiency anemia, and have had colonoscopy and an upper GI endoscopy. The results of both were normal. I have plenty of iron in my diet. I don't have heavy menstrual periods (in fact, they're very light). Could my anemia be caused by donating blood? I usually give blood every eight weeks. - Women's Health - Women's Health
